Anyway
Mary Oliver’s optimism pissed me off while I was on my period.
If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel rage, give in to it.
Pull up your Facebook page and tell everyone in your periphery about your particular flavor of injustice, the slights against you of the day.
We are so smart, and not very often wrong.
And much can be bought.
Moreso, life has fury left.
Perhaps this is its way of tasting sweeter on the tongue, that sometimes something happens that widens the gap made by the rich and powerful of the world.
Mistake the open road for freedom.
Go crawl on your knees toward something.
Feel the beg leave your gums.
You will have to pay a little in this life.
How much is not up to you, but you can increase the sum.
It’s a black box on whether you can lessen it.
Anyway, whatever it is, be fearful of its scarcity.
Rage is made to be multiplied.
Thank you for reading. If this stayed with you, please consider supporting my independent project.
