the artists cannot write
or do not spend time producing
letters from mouths the artists they
understand the cavernous poison pit
at the center of each face whose face
your face my face the artist face this lapse
in language, it is what you wish to do,
slick syllabic intent
and not enough of the right feeling flow
right format right form right of way,
so you must come to art and when art strikes,
you quiet close the gaping hole of face,
that grit in between your teeth, keep it.
